Knitting Class for Beginners
Mitch's knitting class was great. With absolutely no knitting experiences I participated in the 'Knitting Class for Beginners' which took place every Saturday morning over four weekends. At the beginning I could barely hold the needles in the right position, but Mitch's patience, his talent for teaching and the well-arranged, detailed handouts finally made me into a passionate knitter. In the last class I could proudly present my scarf and my toque that we made during the three weeks. Actually, the class was not just about learning how to knit, but also about general knowledge concerning wool, needles, care of woolen products, production process of wool and lots more. Even though some classes started a bit late because of late arrivals of the participants, we all could finish our projects as we were an ambitious small group. With a total number of three participants, Mitch made sure that everybody got extensive help; no matter how often I got stuck, he always showed me how to correct my mistakes. The unconstrained atmosphere and some delicious homemade snacks which were served from time to time made the knitting class an unforgettable experience. Now I am really looking forward to my next knitting projects. Carl
