Knit Forward - Fair Isle Knitting
The knit forward
series will allow students to further their knitting skills and increase their
knowledge of various knitting techniques . Fair Isle knitting is a traditional
knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colours. It is named
after Fair Isle, one of the Shetland islands. This is a one session class in
our Knitting Forward series providing an introduction to Fair Isle
knitting. Students will learn how to
carry or strand yarn colors not in use, as well as the technique of
weaving the strands with every stitch.
This will be accomplished by knitting a sampler.
One session course.
Basic knitting skills required.
Price: $40.00 +HST.
Conditions of Class Registration:
All classes and workshops require payment in full upon
registration in order to confirm your spot. Registration can be made online, in
person at the store or by phone. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to class
will not be refunded but will be credited for another class. There are no
refunds provided for missed classes.
